There is something for everyone at the new Bourne Community Centre in Poole.

After a very successful 2 year fundraising campaign work began at the new Bourne Community Hub back in Spring 2022 and we are very pleased to announce that the project is now complete.

The new centre has a nursery for up to 50 children with a safe garden. The hub has brand new facilities including a youth club, plus a community café where neighbours and locals can meet for activities such as arts and crafts.

The hub  will host various events in the activity hall such as keep fit, yoga, table tennis, dance and sports and exercise.

Fusion were appointed as the fire and security provider for the project. When we met with the client to discuss their specific requirements and risks there were a few items to consider along with complying with the risk assessment and insurance policies. The fire alarm and intruder alarm needed to connect to an alarm receiving centre for brigade and police response.  The CCTV needed to be viewable on the managers mobile phone and from behind the reception desk. The  access control needed to be a colour video intercom so authorisation can be obtained from visitors to the nursery.

All of these system are now complete and after a successful client handover and demo the site is fully operational.

We received fantastic feedback from the staff on site who were all present for the demonstration, they commented on how easy the systems are to operate and how the image quality on the CCTV cameras are so sharp and crystal clear.

We love happy customers at Fusion!
