Chase Community Hospital
We were recently awarded an NHS contract to install an access control system for Chase Community Hospital in Bordon.
The brief was that the hospital wanted to restrict access to the wards and create three specific user levels that allow only staff and consultants to be permitted access into certain areas.
We chose Paxton’s Net2 system for software with the single gang proximity readers, black back boxes to enable the cable entry.
Because of the material of the walls this was installed using surface trunking to protect and conceal the Paxton reader cable.
The doors are read-in/out so a key fob must be used for both entry and exit. Emergency break glass units have been installed for override and have been protected with alarmed covers to prevent misuse.
An excellent project that has been delivered on schedule for the NHS to begin using immediately.
