CCTV installations are easy aren’t they?

The purpose of investing in a new CCTV system is so that it can be used when it is needed.

If the image quality being produced by the camera and then recorded by the DVR or NVR isn’t sharp enough then it may not be of any use.

It is so important to get it right so that should there be an incident your CCTV doesn’t let you down.

When we install a new CCTV system there are lots of factors to consider;

  • What is the distance from the camera to the required focal point of the image.

  • What are the target images.

  • What are the risks.

  • What is the required angle / field of view of the camera.

  • What are the lighting conditions (Lux Level).

  • What are the environmental conditions.

  • What is the mounting height of camera(s).

  • Is motion detection required.

  • What are the recording requirements.

  • What are the power requirements.

These are just a few of the items we survey for when we produce a system design.

If you would like a free CCTV survey then we are always pleased to help, just give us a call to book a visit.
