Description
CooperVision, Inc. is a business unit of The Cooper Companies. They are primarily a soft contact lens manufacturer. The company was founded in 1980, and its UK headquarters are Hamble near Southampton. CooperVision’s wide range of optical products are sold in over 100 countries worldwide.
CooperVision were struggling with access control at their Goods In entrance to the Hamble site so sought some advice from Fusion on a better solution than they currently had in place.
Fusion worked with CooperVision’s facilities team to design system that allowed calls to be made to multiple handsets from a single entrance point to ensure the visitor is never waiting too long outside the building before being dealt with.
We chose to use Paxton Net2 entry as the product for the intercom due to its flexibility and reputation for reliability.
CooperVision commented how pleased they are with the new system and that it is working in the exact way it needs to.
Requirements
To ensure that vehicles that wish to gain entry to the site through the goods in gate are identified and authorised by the security staff.
